Alden

It all began in 1848, when Charles H. Alden founded the "Alden Shoe Company" in Middelborough, New England. Early on, the company specialized in custom-made men's shoes. All shoes are welted and have an excellent fit. The Aldens' specialty is Cordovan leather, a water-repellent, very soft and yet extremely hard-wearing leather from the hindquarters of horses. These precious pieces of leather are also known as shells. The elaborate production of a pair of Alden shoes takes four months. Anyone who has worn them once swears by their incomparable comfort. Over the years, the Aldens become more and more expressive thanks to their beautiful patina.

Alden takes the Olympus of men's shoes to New England with its timeless classics.
