Samuel Hubbard

The history of the Samuel Hubbard label is a long one: founded in the 1930s in New Hampshire, it initially produced boots for American soldiers in the Second World War and the Korean War. However, cheap competition from Asian countries forced the company to shut down in the 70s. In 2013, a spectacular new start was made in California. Samuel Hubbard is best known for its so-called "unsneakers" - models that have the elegant appearance of a dress shoe on the outside, while being as comfortable as a sneaker on the inside. With wearers such as Bill Clinton and Peter Gabriel, the label also has convinced fans among celebrities.
