This sustainable sneaker from the fashionable label Veja is very trendy. The bright white chrome-free cowhide is smooth and lightweight and is enlivened by the brand's signature logo in bright yellow on the side and a peach-colored patch on the heel. The leather comes from farms in southern Brazil and undergoes an innovative tanning process that does not use chrome, heavy metals or dangerous acids. By simplifying the tanning process, the use of chemicals and energy is reduced, water consumption is cut by around 40% and the use of salt by 80%. After tanning, the water can be recycled. Flowery white laces made from 100% organic cotton underline the consistent, fresh color scheme of the Campo model. The comfortable insole can be removed if required. The off-white, textured rubber sole rounds off the urban look.
