The unique creations from Henderson often don't show the almost hundred-year history of the brand from Vigonza in northern Italy. But the craftsmanship that the company has developed over the years is. When founder Giuseppe Baracco brought four highly qualified craftsmen together in one room in the 1930s to produce two pairs of shoes a day entirely by hand, it was a foretaste of the meticulousness that the family business would apply to perfection in the decades that followed. The uncompromising quality standards have survived to this day: In the in-house atelier, masters of their trade craft the finest Italian footwear, from sneakers to double monks.
